SRH Universities are relying on flexible structures made from MiniTec aluminum profiles to modernize their labs. This creates adaptable work environments that optimally support hands-on teaching, research, and innovative projects.

The SRH Universities are a network of private, state-recognized universities distinguished by practice-oriented teaching, modern campuses, and the innovative CORE principle (competence-oriented learning). They offer a wide range of degree programs in fields such as business, technology, media, and health.
The universities are gradually modernizing their technical laboratories, relying on modular structures made from MiniTec aluminum profiles. The goal is to create a flexible and future-proof infrastructure for research, teaching, and practical projects.
In a first step, MiniTec Berlin used the modular profile system to build workbenches for six-axis industrial robots at the SRH locations in Berlin and Heidelberg. The robust yet modular design enables stable integration of the robot systems as well as easy adaptation to different experimental setups. This was followed by the construction of the frame for a gantry robot. Here, too, the profile structures offer high stability combined with great flexibility for expansions and modifications. In addition, frames were manufactured for mechatronic training systems used in student education. The modular design allows the experimental setups to be quickly adapted and new course content to be efficiently integrated.
Additional frames and project setups for student and research-oriented applications are already in the planning stages and will be implemented gradually. By using MiniTec aluminum profiles, the SRH Universities are creating a modern, expandable laboratory environment that meets the requirements of a practice-oriented engineering education.
