The SASA Volleyball Academy in Kenya, supported by MiniTec, looks back on an impressive sports year in 2025. The girls’ team remained undefeated throughout the season – from the district to the regional level – and secured the regional title for the fifth consecutive time.
At the national championships, the team delivered a strong performance, finishing in fourth place. A special highlight: two players, Mercy and Marsiana, were selected for the Kenyan national team and successfully represented their country at the East African Games. There, the team achieved a historic milestone – the first East African title since junior schools were allowed to participate in the games.
Thanks to MiniTec’s financial support, SASA was able to enable the participation of these two players and implement additional training measures that significantly contributed to their success. This support goes beyond athletic performance: it strengthens the girls’ self-confidence, opens up new opportunities, and instills values such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
MiniTec is proud to be part of this success story and to actively support the development of young talents. The commitment of the SASA Volleyball Academy demonstrates impressively how targeted support can create a lasting impact – both on and off the court.
We congratulate the entire SASA Volleyball Academy team on an outstanding 2025 season!
