MiniTec work tables are used in many areas, such as manual assembly. To protect sensitive components from damage when handling them, we recommend attaching a protective plate made of polyurethane (PU). The rubber-like material is elastic and absorbs the impact should components fall. But it also protects them from scratches etc. during normal work. 

Conversely, a PU top also protects the table itself from impacts and damage of all kinds - and permanently, as the material is highly wear-resistant with a hardness of 75° Shore. It is insensitive to knocks etc. and has excellent abrasion properties. Its temperature range extends from -30°C to +80°C.

MiniTec offers PU sheets in black and gray. They have a thickness of 4 mm and can be cut to size individually - up to a maximum size of 3030 x 980 mm. Fastening to the table top is child's play and is done with double-sided adhesive tape (best to order at the same time).
