This is precisely what BartelsRieger Atemschutztechnik GmbH has specialized in for many years. The Cologne-based company is an expert in the field of mobile and stationary breathing air supply. This includes not only the supply of a wide range of respiratory protection components, but also a comprehensive service that encompasses the cleaning of used cylinders.
MiniTec has extensive experience in the field of breathing apparatus workshops for fire departments. Now, the industrial sector is also benefiting from this expertise.
Because an increasing number of large customers – particularly chemical parks – prefer to perform this cleaning independently on-site, BartelsRieger decided to expand its offerings to include the design and implementation of breathing apparatus workshops. To be able to offer truly customized, “all-in-one” solutions in this area, the company entered into a partnership with MiniTec. MiniTec has extensive experience in the field of breathing apparatus workshops for fire departments. BartelsRieger has the right equipment and understands the industry’s requirements. It was therefore a natural step to collaborate in the future in order to provide optimal service to industrial customers in this area.

The partnership recently successfully passed its first major test at a large German chemical park: MiniTec and BartelsRieger worked hand in hand for the service provider based there and ultimately handed over the new respiratory protection workshop for practical use.

The customer was extremely pleased with the result – thanks to the new breathing apparatus workshop from MiniTec and BartelsRieger, the chemical park is now self-sufficient when it comes to the rapid cleaning of respiratory protection equipment. This is extremely important, as the goal was to significantly reduce the turnaround time for PPE (personal protective equipment). With professional maintenance and care in its own breathing apparatus workshop, the chemical park now ensures not only the operational readiness of its equipment but also its service life.
